CACC SkillsUSA National Results

We are extremely proud to announce the results from Friday night’s SkillsUSA Awards Ceremony at the national contest in Louisville.

Jerry Jo, 2015 Hickman High School graduate, placed first in the SkillsUSA Culinary Arts national competition, and Jacob Knerr, 2015 Columbia Home Educators graduate, placed fourth in the SkillsUSA Commercial Baking national competition for high school students.

Jerry was awarded with a full four-year scholarship to many of the country’s top culinary schools. Jacob was awarded a partial scholarship to the same schools. Jo and Knerr will continue their education at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.

Jerry, Jacob, and the Chef Instructors would like to thank everyone for their support throughout their road to Nationals.  We would not be able to fund the practice sessions and make the trip to the contest without the Culinary Program supporters.

Thank you for all you do – CACC Culinary
